Nia Classes

Nia is a mindful and energetic workout based on dance, martial arts, Yoga and Tai Chi. It was developed over 30 years ago as a low impact exercise and as a way of getting fit without injury. It is truly holistic in that it has been specifically designed to nourish the mind, body and spirit. Many of the aches and pains that are common today are the result of the lack of movement. Our generally sedentary occupations and lifestyles combined with the stresses of modern day living can take a toll on our bodies. Nia cleverly combats this by moving the body the way it was designed to be moved while providing a release for all the pent up stress and energy. Nia's catchphrase is "Through movement we find health".

Nia is low impact and can be enjoyed by people of all ages and all levels of fitness including pregnancy as you can tailor the moves to suit your body. Classes are taken barefoot and typically last around an hour consisting of dancing and movement to the sounds of inspiring music from around the world. No dance experience (or even coordination!) is required and you don't need a partner. Just come along in comfortable clothes and be prepared to have fun!  Classes are at The Yoga Tree Stirling. Class Times

Nia at The Yoga Tree Stirling:
Mondays at 7.30pm* and Fridays at 6pm 


*To access the Stirling Arcade after 6pm, please come in the Murray Place Entrance (nearest the Train Station).

Yoga Tree is situated in the Crawford Arcade in Stirling City Centre.

Nia Classes are at 7.30pm every Monday and 6pm every Friday. Classes are 1 hour long. No booking necessary. £6 drop-in. Bring some water and wear something comfortable.
